This “Fatty” Fruit ENDS Diabetes

Fruit is good for your health.

But even the best fruit can sabotage a weight loss program or increase your diabetes risk if you eat too much of it.

In fact, some doctors tell their patients to stay away from it altogether.

Yet there’s one particular “fatty” fruit that can actually HELP you lose weight and prevent diabetes.

And you should be eating it every single day.

An apple a day might keep the doctor away… but an avocado a day can keep DIABETES away.

In a study published in the journal Molecular Nutrition and Food Research, researchers found that a compound found ONLY in avocados can STOP certain processes in your body that cause diabetes.

For eight weeks, the researchers fed rats a high-fat diet designed to induce obesity and insulin resistance. Then for the next five weeks, they added this avocado molecule (called AvoB) to the diets of half the mice.

In the end, the mice given the AvoB:

  • Weighed less
  • Gained weight more slowly, and
  • Had greater insulin sensitivity

One of the underlying causes of insulin resistance is when your body stops burning fatty acids the way it’s supposed to (as a result of obesity or diabetes).

AvoB steps in to help your body continue to burn fat.

This can play a major role in weight loss, blood sugar control, and diabetes prevention.

In addition, a human study reveals that giving AvoB as a dietary supplement to people eating the typical high-fat Western diet led to weight loss, and didn’t cause any negative side effects.

This is still an early study, but it’s just another in a long line of reasons to be eating avocados regularly.

They are loaded with healthy fats that help keep you full, slow the breakdown of carbohydrates, support healthy skin, and boost the immune system.

They contain nutrients that are good for your vision, bones, mood, and digestions, and they can help prevent cancer, heart disease, and stomach issues.

And they’re just plain delicious.
