Could a Stroke Actually SAVE YOUR LIFE?!

Dear Reader,

If you were lucky enough to survive a stroke, you probably don’t feel all that lucky.

The rehabilitation can be absolutely grueling… and you can even lose your independence for months at a time.

That’s why this latest announcement from a European research team is so shocking.

Because they just proved… beyond a shadow of a doubt… that a stroke could end up saving your life.

How, you ask?!

Turns out, a stroke could be an early warning sign of a deadly, lurking disease – while there’s still time to do something about it.

New research proves that some strokes are a symptom of undiagnosed cancer.

In fact, it’s the cancer that is causing the stroke to begin with.

That’s because cancer can trigger aggressive blood clotting.

Dr. Jacobo Rogado was the lead researcher on the team that discovered this shocking connection.

He and his team examined the medical records of 914 stroke patients admitted to an emergency department.

Turns out that these folks were TWICE as likely to be diagnosed with cancer within 18 months after their strokes.

And the cancer tended to be more advanced, meaning it was present (and usually undiagnosed) at the time of the stroke.

Thanks to this new research, Rogado advises that stroke survivors should be screened for cancer in the 18 months after their strokes.

“This applies particularly to older patients who had cancer previously,” he urges.

If you or someone you love has suffered a stroke, talk to your doc about a cancer screening.

It couldn’t hurt… and it just may end up saving your life.
