Popular Drugs DOUBLE Dementia Risk
For centuries, Big Pharma has been doling out dangerous drugs without any consideration for your health… or your wallet.
They’ve pushed heart-wreaking statins and limb-taking diabetes drugs on just about anyone who steps foot in a doctor’s office
And now, they’ve done it again.
A new study reveals that taking a certain class of drugs can DOUBLE your risk of dementia.
Even worse? They’ve known about this risk for ages!
Here’s how to protect yourself and your loved ones.
Benzodiazepines (benzos) – like Xanax and Valium – are incredibly common, prescribed for everything from anxiety and depression to insomnia and more.
The only problem? They don’t work and are highly addictive.
And now a new study shows that benzos can increase your risk of dementia, too.
But this isn’t the first time these results have turned up.
In fact, the link between benzos and dementia has been validated by numerous studies.
You see, a 2014 study concluded that taking benzos for just SIX MONTHS can DOUBLE your risk of dementia.
And it gets even worse…
That same study also determined that taking a mere 12 week course of benzos could increase your dementia risk by 51 percent.
That’s right! After just THREE MONTHS of taking these dangerous drugs, your dementia risk more than DOUBLES!
Even more disturbing? A 2012 study found taking benzos can increase your odds of pneumonia by 54 percent… and increase your risk of DYING from this infection by nearly a third.
So, benzodiazepines are linked to dementia and death and yet more than 10 percent of American seniors are taking these types of drugs.
Have you heard of anything so reckless?!
If your or someone you love is taking benzodiazepines it’s important that you don’t stop them cold turkey.
Instead, talk to your doctor about how to slowly get off of these dangerous drugs.
