Try a gentle chin-tuck stretch (where you tuck your chin to your neck), and hold it there for 30 seconds or so. You can also do slow neck rolls to help loosen stiff muscles.

#2 Comfrey cream

 This one isn’t as well known, but it has been used for thousands of years for topical pain relief. Just rub it on where it hurts, and you’ll notice the difference in seconds.

#3 Sesame oil

 Another good topical solution is sesame oil, especially for something like aching knees. It works because it improves circulation and loosens tight muscles.

#4 Clove oil

 While we’re talking about topical solutions, clove oil is great for aching feet because it relaxes your muscles and stimulates blood flow. You can also massage it into your forehead for headache pain relief.

#5 Peppermint tea

This one can work wonders on headaches because the aroma alone has the power to relax constricted blood vessels in your brain. Don’t like the taste? Make yourself a cup and inhale the vapors.

#6 Ice

Soaking sore feet in ice water, or putting an ice pack on ANY source of pain, can work in minutes because it helps to numb your nerve endings while also reducing inflammation temporarily. Just don’t overdo it. Ten minutes should be plenty.

#7 Heat

Yes, the opposite can work, too. Heat increases blood flow to an area, which can offer almost instant relief in pain and stiffness. This is especially beneficial for sore necks.

#8 Magnesium

Lack of magnesium can cause overall muscle aches and pain because it can cause your muscles to contract. For double the benefit, add one to two cups of Epsom salt to a warm bath.
