Get the BEST Sleep of Your Life?!

It was another one of those nights. Tossing. Turning. Getting up to go to the bathroom. Covers on, covers off.

You’re restless, and before you know it, it’s morning. And your strong cup of coffee does little to get rid of the fogginess and irritability you feel from barely getting any shut-eye.

If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.

The CDC reports that one in every three adults don’t get enough sleep.

And as you probably already know, getting enough sleep is CRUCIAL to better health.

Sure, your doc has probably already told you this, and the truth is you’d LOVE to get more sleep.

But how exactly can you get rid of these restless, sheep-counting nights?

Well, if you don’t already, it’s time to follow these three rules and get on your way to catching more zzz’s.

Rule 1: Your Pillow

What you lay your head on can make all of the difference when it comes to getting a peaceful night’s sleep.

It might sound like a no brainer but think about it: when’s the last time you got a different style of pillow? What kind is it, what is its density? Do you wake up with neck pain?

Research suggests opting for something with memory foam or down feathers. Hypoallergenic might also be another kind you’ll want to consider. Check out this site for some top rated pillow options.

Rule 2: Blankets, Covers, Duvets, Oh My

Another key player in a good night’s sleep is your body temperature. There are duvets that have fillings or fabrics that change their state to keep you at a comfortable temperature.

Think about the kind of sleeper you are. Are you hot at night? Look for something more lightweight. If you’re more cold, consider wool-filled duvets.

Rule 3: The Bed That’s “Just Right”

Everyone has different needs based on size, shape, sleeping positions. So when it comes to finding a mattress, getting one that suits you is extremely important.

There’s no “one size fits all” mattress.

Some mattresses are designed to keep you cooler, others conform more to your body. A mattress topper can also be a great way to improve your sleep quality.
