Doctor’s COVID-19 Discovery Finds Hidden Factor
It seems like every new piece of information we learn about the recent coronavirus is STRANGER than the last.
We’re living in a bizarre world and it can feel like nothing is the way it used to be.
But each thing we find out about this virus gives us more insight into how to beat it and save lives.
And now a discovery by a Chinese doctor shows a hidden enemy some COVID-19 patients were fighting before they even entered the hospital…
A condition that could increase their risk of dying from COVID-19.
A startling new study out of China has shown that there’s one risk already working against COVID-19 patients before they even enter the hospital…
Researchers have now found blood clots in the lungs, kidneys, and even hearts of severe COVID-19 patients.
But here’s the worst part: these patients faced an 18 times higher chance of dying.
Dr. Bin Cao, a doctor fighting on the forefront of the coronavirus outbreak in China, noticed that some patients who passed away had notably HIGHER levels of D-dimer in their blood when they were admitted to the hospital.
D-dimer helps naturally dissolve blood clots that occasionally occur. It’s a healthy function… but like all systems in our body, it can go HAYWIRE.
And it’s the first thing doctor’s check when they think you’re at risk for a blood clot.
So if your D-dimer levels are high, it means your body is having to break down more frequent and more dangerous blood clots… and it’s producing more D-dimer to deal with it.
Here’s the takeaway:
The first thing you can do is to take care of your health as best you can. And that starts with keeping your blood flow going strong.
Some studies have shown that the natural supplement ashwagandha can be effective in preventing blood clots and strokes. You can also try garlic, gingko biloba, and turmeric. Just make sure to talk with your doctor first, especially if you’re already taking blood thinners.
As an extra precaution, make sure to keep your immune system strong with herbs like astragalus and Echinacea.
You can find all of these supplements in your local health food store or at online stores.
