Disgusting! Government BANNING Leukemia Cure

Dear Reader,

Let’s face it – Uncle Sam has bungled the War on Drugs since Day 1.

We’ve got cartels running wild in American cities and high school kids getting strung out on heroin and crystal meth.

Now, the Feds’ twisted drug policies are threatening thousands of patients who are practically on their death beds.

They’ve sent one major government agency to target a powerful leukemia cure, just because it’s loosely connected to an “illegal” drug.

And they may be about to ban a treatment that could be a life-saver for you or someone you love.

It’s important to understand what cannabinoids are – and what they’re not.

They’re compounds found in marijuana plants, but they don’t have any psychoactive properties.

They don’t get you high… they won’t have you hallucinating about riding on unicorns.

All cannabinoids do is kill cancer cells and potentially save lives – but apparently that’s not good enough for Uncle Sam.

Despite yet another successful round of cancer research from a team at St. George’s University of London, our greedy government is still trying to crack down on cannabinoids.

The St. George’s study revealed that two varieties of cannabinoids – cannabidiol and tetrahydrocannabinol – killed leukemia cells when used alone.

And they were even more powerful against cancer when used together. Plus, they can be used alongside mainstream cancer treatments like chemotherapy.

Just think about that. This means patients could receive lower doses of chemo – and suffer fewer horrifying side effects – by adding cannabinoids into the mix.

These results should revolutionize the way people are treated for leukemia. But not if our government has anything to say about it.

What many people don’t realize is that the Drug Enforcement Agency maintains its official position that marijuana (and its components) have absolutely no medical use.

And they’re doing this despite the fact that 25 states and Washington, D.C. have approved cannabis and cannabinoids for use as medicine.

Just last year, the DEA ruled against removing cannabis from the list of Schedule 1 drugs.

If you don’t live in a state that has legalized cannabis, shipping cannabinoids across state lines has become like the equivalent of trying to run moonshine during Prohibition.

The former governor of Washington state said it best: “The DEA [is] totally out of touch with the Justice Department, current research, the medical profession, patients, and the public.”

And it’s all because they don’t want to look foolish for having spent decades – and billions of dollars – waging war against a plant that could have been saving lives all along.

Even worse? The U.S. government actually owns the patent to marijuana!

It’s U.S. Patent No. 6,630,507 and it describes the therapeutic potential for cannabinoids without psychoactive properties.  They know this stuff works, and they still won’t ease up on regulations!

Email your members of Congress, and tell them the DEA needs to get with the times.

We shouldn’t be denying patients with cancer… folks who may be dying… access to anything that could save their lives.

And right now, that’s exactly what our government is doing.
