[COVID-19]: Is Your Medicine Raising Your Risk?
We all know the worst thing about COVID-19 is that anyone can get it.
And we’re all doing the best we can to stay safe.
But there’s something you need to know that I’m going to share with you today.
And it’s something Big Pharma doesn’t want you to know about… i
A new study out of the Journal of Travel Medicine, there are certain drugs that could make it even harder to battle COVID-19 risk
If you’re taking one of these types of drugs, you could be raising your COVID-19 risk.
I’m talking about ACE inhibitors and ARBs.
You might know these blood pressure lowering drugs better by their brand names, like and Atacand or Aceon and Diovan.
And now researchers discovered that these types of drugs might be your worst enemy when it comes to fighting .
As you may already know, many patients who’ve lost the battle against COVID-19 have suffered from severe lung infections.
In a study of over 1,099 patients in Wuhan, China—the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak— researchers found that some patients had a worse outcome when it came to fighting COVID-19.
In particular, patients with high blood pressure suffered the most.
What the researchers think happened is, COVID-19 cells like to bind to the SAME types of enzymes the blood pressure medicine is .
In other words, ARBs work by increasing your ACE2 enzyme to lower your blood pressure. And COVID-19 loves to bind to these enzymes.
So if they hitch a ride on those enzymes… things could go downhill.
And before you know it, your lungs are weak… you’ve lost your strength… and you could be in big trouble.
Here’s what you can do.
If you begin to notice COVID-19 symptoms, go to your doctor right away. Mention this study and ask if there’s another medication you can be on instead.
And if you don’t want to wait until then, DON’T quit your ACE inhibitors or ARBs immediately. Instead, speak with an integrative doctor who can help you safely wean you off of your medication and start you on a natural blood pressure lowering supplement instead.
In the meantime, strengthen your lungs with an oregano supplement. Not only can it help you lungs, oregano is a known antiviral as well, so it can help keep viruses at bay.
