Chemo MAKING Breast Cancer WORSE?!
Every year, close to 50,000 Americans diefrom breast cancer.
Even worse? Experts believe this number will continue skyrocket over the next decade.
And there’s an incredibly sinister reason for this…
A new study shows that certain cancer drugs are actually making breast cancer WORSE.
Here’s what you need to know…
Recent research from the University of Vermont shows that chemo drugs can trigger metastasis – the spreading of cancer cells – in breast cancer patients.
It does this by dramatically weakening your overall cellular health.
The study compared muscle fibers from healthy women to fibers from women who had undergone chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer.
Atthe end, the breast cancer patients had fewer mitochondria and fewer healthy cells.
And in follow up research it was found that the common chemo drugs paclitaxel and doxorubicin were the key drivers behind this mitochondrial dysfunction.
Without healthy mitochondrial function, your cells can no longer function properly… and can even make your cancer spread faster.
Imagine that… After undergoing the agony of chemotherapy you ending up even SICKER than when you started.
One related study found that popular breast cancer drugs paclitaxel and doxorubicin:
- Prompt cancer cells to invade blood vessels.
- Increase the number of circulating cancer cells.
- Increase your riskof metastasis after treatment.
It’s a disaster!
But you don’t have to be the next victim.
If you or a loved one is suffering from breastcancer, talk with your doctor about your options – chemo may not be right for you.
