Big Pharma BUSTED in Deadly Drug Lie
It’s a disgusting lie that could end up costing you your life…
…And Big Pharma has just been caught red-handed.
For years, drug companies have been trying to play down the serious risks of proton-pump inhibitors (PPIs) like Nexium, Prevacid, and Prilosec.
Despite the fact that these heartburn meds are linked to dementia, strokes, bone breaks – and even death – they claimed PPI patients were just naturally sicker to begin with.
And they swore it wasn’t the drugs that were destroying our health.
But a new, groundbreaking study has exposed this ugly lie once and for all.
And if you or someone you love is being treated for heartburn, this is one warning you won’t want to miss.
There’s no sense arguing about it anymore:
PPIs are killers – and the longer you take them, the bigger the risk.
The new study from the Veterans Affairs Saint Louis Health Care System analyzed data from more than 6 million people, many of them seniors.
These folks were either taking PPIs, histamine-2 blockers (like Pepcid and Zantac) or nothing at all.
And the people taking PPIs were a whopping 25% more likely to turn up dead.
Just think about that for a second… If heartburn patients were just naturally more likely to die, we would have seen the same risk with the H2 blockers.
But we didn’t.
It seems crystal clear to me – the PPIs were causing deaths. And, as the researchers pointed out, the longer you’re on them, your risk increases exponentially.
That’s a HUGE problem, considering that patients take PPIs for an average of 450 days in a row.
Basically, patients can continue refilling these prescription indefinitely. And PPIs are being sold over-the-counter now, too, meaning countless people aren’t being monitored at all.
According to the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, PPI use nearly doubled between 2000 and 2012.
That means Big Pharma is making twice the cash and we’re being exposed to twice the risk!
If you or someone you love is using PPIs to control issues with heartburn and stomach acid, immediately consult your doctor for alternative treatments.
Just a tablespoon of aloe juice or apple cider vinegar can work wonders to control stomach acid.
Even chewing gum after meals can go a long way toward helping your digestion and providing relief.
And I can’t think of the last time a stick of Trident killed anyone.
