Cholesterol

[Alert] Popular Drug is TOTALLY WORTHLESS

If you’re older than 60, odds are you’ve been prescribed a cholesterol-lowering statin at one point or another.

Hopefully, you’ve long since ditched the stuff.

But, if you haven’t, maybe this latest report will finally change your mind.

Because not only are statins incredibly dangerous, they don’t even work!

Big Pharma has been lying to us for years. And not just about statins.

The truth is finally out, and it ain’t pretty.

New research, published in the BMJ Open Journal, has revealed a shocking reality about cholesterol and the deadly drugs used to “treat” it.

Cholesterol does not cause heart disease, and trying to lower it with statins is a total waste of time.

That’s right: high cholesterol doesn’t cause heart disease and statins don’t work. Period.

Thanks to a review of nearly 70,000 subjects, experts found that there was no link between “bad” cholesterol and fatalities from cardiovascular disease in patients over 60.

In fact, 92 percent of people with high cholesterol lived longer than those with “normal” cholesterol levels.

For decades we’ve been told that high levels of “bad” cholesterol leads to heart disease, stroke, peripheral arterial disease, aortic disease, and other cardiovascular issues.

But this simply isn’t true.

This revelation was just the beginning.

Because, if high cholesterol isn’t as dangerous as we’ve always been told, then the necessity and benefit of statins has been grossly exaggerated for years!

And it’s cost people their lives.

Statins have been linked time and again to very serious side effects – from liver damage and diabetes to angina, muscle pain, and much more – some of which have been fatal.

But that hasn’t stopped Big Pharma from pushing statins on us at every turn.

As it turns out, it’s all been for nothing.

Expert Professor Sherif Sultan from the University of Ireland explains that cholesterol is one of the most crucial molecules in your body. In fact, it prevents infection, cancer, muscle pain, and other conditions in the elderly.

So, he continues: “Lowering cholesterol with medications for primary cardiovascular prevention in those aged over 60 is a total waste of time and resources.”

If you’re taking a statin, talk to your doc about this latest research and what it would take to get off the drug.

But never quit a statin (or any other drug) cold turkey – that can cause serious side effects on its own
