The latest study from the University of San Diego is the first of its kind – proving that RoundUp has caused a shocking and dangerous increase in our exposure to the toxic chemical glyphosate.
The research team tracked people in Southern California from 1993 to 1996 and then again from 2014 to 2016, all over the age of 50.
During those 20 years, the number of subjects testing positive for glyphosate in their systems increased by 500%.
You are 500% more likely to have a deadly chemical in your body now than you were 20 years ago.
It all makes sense when you consider that RoundUp use has increased over 800% in the last few years, alone.
And it’s making us sick in ways we never even knew.
The World Health Organization has admitted that glyphosate probably causes cancer.
But a bigger picture is emerging. As it turns out, cancer isn’t the only deadly risk associated with this toxic chemical.
A 2013 study by scientists Dr. Anthony Samsel and Dr. Stephanie Senneff found that glyphosate may be “the most important factor in the development of multiple chronic diseases that have become prevalent in Westernized societies.”
They found that it not only causes inflammation, oxidative stress, DNA mutations, and cancer – particularly in the breast, pancreas, kidney, thyroid, bladder, and liver – but it also damages your cells, impairs your ability to absorb healthy minerals, and disrupts your metabolism.
In short: glyphosate not only makes you sick, it also cripples your defenses that would otherwise detoxify and protect your body.
Glyphosate may now be linked to Alzheimer’s disease, autoimmune disorders, type 2 diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and more.
But what many people don’t realize is that you don’t have to be a farmer or use RoundUp in your garden to be exposed to glyphosate.
The stuff is all over the fruits and vegetables we buy at the grocery store! It’s even been detected in wine, table salt, popcorn, and much more.
Buying only organic produce is sure to reduce your exposure. By law, organic foods cannot be grown using chemical pesticides or GMO seeds.
