[Alert] Dump This Deadly Cooking Oil
Just because something is popular, doesn’t mean it’s harmless.
In fact, one of the most common cooking oils in America is doing MAJOR damage to our health.
And I’m not talking about stomach aches or diarrhea.
No. This stuff is destroying our brains.
If you have this cooking oil in your kitchen, you’ll want to throw it in the trash right away.
In fact, it may be a matter of life and death.
Canola oil is one of the most widely used vegetable oils around.
It’s even marketed as being rich in omega-3s and good for our health.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
A new study from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University has actually linked canola oil to Alzheimer’s.
It can actually cause a decrease in memory and problems learning new things.
The team from Temple University divided mice into two groups.
Half ate a normal diet and the other half were given the equivalent of 2 tablespoons of canola oil per day.
After 6 months, the results were deeply disturbing.
First of all, the mice that had consumed canola oil were significantly overweight (so much for it being a “health food”).
But, more importantly, they showed serious problems when tested for short-term and working memory as well as learning ability.
The mice fed canola oil also had a greater amount of amyloid plaque in their brains, a key indicator of Alzheimer’s.
All this brain damage from a cooking oil!
But here’s the good news… this same Temple research team had previously found that extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) actually helps reverse the signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s.
So, why on earth would you ever spend another penny on dangerous canola oil?!
If you have any of this deadly ingredient in your home, do yourself a favor and toss it out.
You’ll also want to check the ingredients in baked goods to be sure you’re not eating muffins or bagels cooked in canola.
Instead, opt for organic EVOO – not only is it natural, it tastes great, and it can prevent and combat Alzheimer’s and its symptoms!
EVOO can be found at your local grocery and health food stores — just be sure you’re buying all-natural with no preservatives in a dark glass jar to preserve quality.
